iGame.Audio

Technical Sound Designer

2022-2024

A Game Audio outsourcing company that works with indie game development companies across all audio needs – sound effects, music, and voiceover – whose key specialism is handling all implementation of sounds in-house using the FMOD middleware.

I’ve worked on the following shipped game projects as part of iGame.Audio:

  1. Yes, Your Grace: Snowfall (2025) (Unity)
  2. Winnie’s Hole (2025) (Unity)
  3. The Pirate Queen (2024) (Unity)
  4. Loddlenaut (2023) (Unreal Engine 5)
  5. Wild Country (2023) (Unity)

As the Technical Sound Designer, I worked across many of iGame.Audio’s projects simultaneously, handling implementation tasks such as:

🎮 Working directly in game engines Unity and Unreal Engine to connect FMOD API calls to game code, interactions with UI elements, physics systems, and more.

🎮 Connecting audio data to third-party tools like inventory databases and narrative design software.

🎮 Identifying resource bottlenecks and other implementation issues using the FMOD profiler, and fixing either in authoring or through optimising the calls from the engine.

🎮 Developing FMOD Studio scripts to assist the creative sound designers in authoring events, mixing and organising the workspace.

Working in this role meant I was the bridge between creative sound designers, game designers and engineering teams. My understanding of both technical and creative development processes was a great help here. I learnt a lot working with iGame.Audio and really rate everyone I worked with. Check out their work at iGame.Audio – they do really good stuff.
